Hello, my name is Burcu and this is Luna Moth Jewellery.
I love to design and make one of a kind pieces inspired by nature, colours and symbols. I am a perpetual learner and a keen inquirer who likes to try out new techniques and different materials. I like to work with natural materials such as metals, stones, glass beads and found objects that evolve into ethnic, boho and rustic pieces. All my pieces are hand-crafted in my atelier in Muswell Hill, London.
After spending years in academia thinking about the big questions of life I finally gave into my creative urge in 2017 when I decided to turn my longtime hobby into a full-time business. Over the years I have taken various classes on beading, jewellery making and metalsmithing in places such as London, Istanbul and Edmonton, Canada.
I sell my jewellery locally and online. In my business I am dedicated to honest and kind customer service, fair pricing and care for the environment.
I am a firm believer in the positive impact of engaging in creative activities, both on personal and on collective wellbeing. Currently, in my small studio, I organise jewellery making workshops and in the coming years I aim to set up a creative hub where people can craft together. To that end, I am looking forward to partnering with artists and crafters to explore new possibilities together.
